To optimize your working time, Xpert-Timer BASIC Version is the perfect tool for you. For most of the freelancers a breakdown of Projects, Sub projects and Tasks is enough. Every project can contain unlimited sub projects and every sub project can contain unlimited tasks. At the end of the month, you can print multiple reports in order to identify your time wasting tasks.

While the time is running on a sub project, all tasks that reference to the sub projects need to be finished. As soon as you finish one task, you set its' status to "Finished". The task wil automatically be written into the project activity report. At the end of the day you see exactly what you've accomplished and all your data is saved in an Microsoft-Access database. |

At last, you can run several reports with different filter settings. You can exactly see how many hours were spent on a project compared to what you have guessed you need for it. This helps to calculate future projects and to make sure to set the fixed price correctly. An external reporting generator, like Crystal Reports can also be used to create reports. The database of Xpert-Timer allows access from other applications. |
